This project was conceived in collaboration with the company Simón, with the aim of completely redefining the existing Simon 270 thermostat. The initiative required a thorough review of the device’s design and functionality, incorporating new technologies and improvements to meet current market demands.

Our briefing was to maintain the original aesthetic of the thermostat but completely rethink the internal structure. Additionally, we were tasked with preserving the button system with the integrated screen, maintaining its rocker function. It was also important to keep the two adjustment buttons with the same travel as the original design.

For this project, it was crucial to consider the method of assembly and fitting of the parts, ensuring a precise fit to prevent any unwanted movement within the device. Additionally, we aimed to minimize the number of parts required to reduce production costs and simplify assembly processes as much as possible..
